Please help me support the children of fallen Marines...
As the child of a Marine who was killed on duty, I know first hand the struggles a family faces when they are forced to leave the military community. Saving for college can be near impossible for single parents who suddenly have little to survive on. That's why I have chosen to support the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation as my marathon charity.
MCSF has assisted my family tremendously. They helped my brother pay for his education at Towson University in Maryland, and welcomed us back into the wonderful Marine Corps family. Without the MCSF, hundreds of children would be unable to pursue higher education... not because they did not want to, but because they were unable to afford it.
I chose this charity to support because I strongly believe in what they are doing and I hope you will support me in my efforts to give the gift of education to other children of Marines. When I cross the finish line on October 25th, it will be for them.
