About Our Organization
The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation, Inc. (a non-profit 501(c) 3 Corporation) is dedicated to the development of our nation's most precious resource--the spiritual, intellectual and physical potential of American youth. The mission of the Foundation is assisting the children of current and former Marines whose parent(s) have rendered significant patriotic service to achieve their dreams of higher education. A special $20,000.00 scholarship is available to those children whose Marine Corps parent (or Navy Corpsman serving with Marines) was killed while fighting the War on Terror. Our Foundation is committed to 'Honoring Marines by Educating Their Children.'
Each year the annual New York Leatherneck Scholarship Ball is attended by hundreds of America's Corporate Leaders and supporters. A professionally published souvenir journal, containing information about the Foundation, its honorees and the scholarship recipients, is distributed to all attendees.
