TEAM MCSF Important Information:
  • Each participant will faithfully pledge to raise a minimum contribution.


    • $1,000 for individual marathon runners

    • $950 per person for marathon teams of two

    • $850 per person for marathon teams of 3-6

    • $800 per person for marathon teams of 7+

    • $250 per person for 10K runners

    • The race is open to both runners and walkers age 14 and over who are able to complete the 26.2 mile course within a 7 hour time frame.


  • Each participant will be required to pay the Marathon registration fee of $100.00 or 10K Marathon registration fee of $50 in advance to join the Foundation Marathon Team unless you have already officially registered. If so, then you can select the 'no bib' option on our registration page to just join our marathon team..

All team members will receive the following:

  • Race Day Team T-shirts to be worn during the marathon (The shirts are made with a great wicking fabric, will include the MCSF Logo on the back and will be mailed out in mid-September so that you can spend time running in them before the marathon

  • Access for you, family and friends to the Team Tent at the Marathon to store personal items during the race, to enjoy food and drink pre- and post-race, and a place for family and friends to wait. The Team Tent is also available to take pre- and post-race pictures, and to use a laptop with online access to monitor runners' progress.

  • Access to specially priced hotel rooms reserved for the Foundation Marathon Team

34th Marine Corps Marathon Health and Fitness Expo * You must attend the Expo on one of the days listed to pick up your race packet!10/23/2009 4:00 pm - 10/24/2009 7:00 pm
34th Annual Marine Corps Marathon: Join us in our Race Day Tent to store your items and mingle after the race. Your family, friends and supporters are welcome to join us in the tent as well. A computer will be available to everyone to check on other runners or your own personal running time.10/25/2008 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Fees:

Individual MCM Runner: $100.00
General Registration for individual not running with a team.

Team of 2 MCM Runners: $100.00
Registration for one individual on a 2 man team

Team of 3 - 6 MCM Runners: $100.00
Registration for one individual on a 3-6 man team

Team of 7 or more MCM Runners: $100.00
Registration for one individual on team of 7 or more runners

10K Run: $50.00
Individual Registration for the Marine Corps 10K

No Bib: No Fees
Already registered for the Marine Corps Marathon? Choose this type if you've registered through the MCM registration website and have a bib number. This will provide you with all the perks of joining the MCSF team.

Eagle ($5,500.00 + ) 
Individuals that raise at least $5,500 prior to October 9, 2009 will have the option to name a $5,000 Annual Scholarship in honor or in memory of someone of their choosing along with other special incentives.
   

Globe ($3,000.00 - $5,499.00) 
Individuals that raise at least $3,000 prior to October 9, 2009 will have the option to name a $2,500 Annual Scholarship in honor or in memory of someone of their choosing along with other special incentives.
   

Anchor ($1,000.00 - $2,999.00) 
Individuals that raise at least $1,000 prior to October 9, 2009 will receive a special gift in addition to other participation incentives.
   

  
Team Level
Top Marathon Team (Gross)  
The Team that raises the most money by October 9, 2009 will be eligible for special prizes, yet to be determined.
   

Top Marathon Team (Net)  
Based on number of participants, the team that has the greatest per team member average by October 9, 2009, will win special prizes yet to be determined. (For example, a team of 5 raises $5,000, for an average of $1,000/pp and a team of 4 raises $5,000, for an average of $1,250/pp, so the team of 4 wins)
